Types of Taping
Leather, suede, tapestry, cotton, jute and hessian; sewn on the edge
of carpets as a border with up to 4 inches showing. A wider border
can be made by sewing two or more tapes together, which can be the
same or different colours.
All invisibly sewn with mitred corners
Hessian Tape
Especially recommended for sea-grass, jute and other natural
materials. Up to 1 1/2 inches can be shown on top of carpet.
Comes in four colours; natural, burgundy, sage and black. These tapes
are considerably cheaper than other tapes and are produced
exclusively for B. H. Carpets.
Blind Stitching
38mm tape is sewn on the edge of the carpet and latexed on the
back - virtually invisible - hence the name.
